You can adjust the speed of the animations using the animation factor in your parallax code. For example,
y 0.5 (medium speed) will scroll faster than
y 0.1 (slow speed).
The daydream template uses imagine's built in parallax containers. If you look at the initialization code in
daydream.js you will see the size parameter is set to
fullscreen. You can change this parameter to
auto, then adjust the height of the parallax sections via CSS.
I'd suggest you to use an advanced text editor (Atom or Sublime Text) or an IDE (WebStorm) rather that DreamWeaver. While DreamWeaver is not bad, it will introduce all kind of unintended code in your markup. You can lookup the 2D transitions from Hover.css http://ianlunn.github.io/Hover/ to get an idea on how to get simple 2D animations.
